Q: What sort of things has Kerry worked on?

A: Kerry has had great results assisting with:

  • portfolio and student presentation for high school students applying to colleges, universities, and graduate programs in Art, Art History, + Art Therapy;

  • narrowing and identifying creative and professional goals and determing the difference between the two;

  • all facets of exhibiting art from transport to installation and the accompanying agreements;

  • jury panels for various awards;

  • organizing and advising unconventional creative learners;

  • arts advocacy;

  • document review;

  • and publishing, photography & performing arts - production, licensing, and artist management.

Q: What sorts of things can Kerry NOT help with?

A: While she may or may not be able to provide referrals for these topics, Kerry is NOT able to provide:

  • career management services;

  • structural business advising;

  • and legal advice.

Q: But does she even make art?

A: As a practing artist, Kerry has exhibited her work in video, performance, painting and installation. She has experience teaching drawing at the undergraduate level and in painting, drawing, ceramics, and animation at the K-High School levels. She’s experimented with glass blowing and performed stand up comedy at an art festival. We can figure it out.

Q: What if my thing isn’t on this list?

A: Email kerry@bigskyworkshop.com and ask about it!

Q: Are there any sliding scale options?

A: Yes. Creative progress shouldn’t be cost prohibitive. Email kerry@bigskyworkshop.com to work it out.

Q: What happens if we meet and Kerry can’t help me?

A: Intake sheets are reviewed thoroughly and if there are questions, Kerry will follow up before your session. If at this point, she determines it’s beyond the scope of what she can help with - she’ll let you know and provide a full refund. If for some reason, even after this, you end up meeting and feel no further clarity in your situation, Kerry will retain $100 fee for her time to review materials and for the session, and refund you the balance of your payment, OR a refund or credit can be arranged. You have seven days from the time of your session to let her know! Your satisfaction is important.

Q: What if I need more than an hour.
